Choose the right place for private information

Stowlet Secrets is a dedicated place for private entries with its own protection controls. Use ordinary notes for everyday information and Secrets when the information belongs behind that extra lock.

Follow the setup guidance

Read the instructions shown in the app when setting up or unlocking Secrets. Your sign-in and the protection used for Secrets serve different purposes. Keep the information you need to unlock your entries safe and follow the recovery guidance provided by the app.

Use clear titles without revealing private details

A title can help you recognize an entry without including its private value. Choose a short description that tells you what it is for. Keep the sensitive details inside the entry rather than putting them in its title or a screenshot you intend to share.

Lock when you have finished

Use the lock controls when you are done and protect the device you are using. Android offers biometric interface protection where supported. Keep your account secure and be mindful of other people who can access an unlocked device.

Take care before changing protection settings

Follow the app’s encryption and recovery instructions before changing the settings used to protect your Secrets. Do not assume that changing an account password also changes how Secrets are unlocked.

Ask for help without sharing the secret

If you need support, explain what action failed and the message you saw. Never send the entry’s private content, your passwords or recovery information. You can learn more through the Data & Security page and contact AYOHI Support for the next step.

The Stowlet product page explains how Secrets fits alongside the other workspace items. Review the Data & Security guidance before changing protection settings.
